Margao, February 2026: The pairs of Shaurya and Anamay and Rushil and Aryan advanced to the Men’s Doubles final with convincing semifinal victories at the ongoing Baale BPS Open 2026 at the B.P.S. Sports Club in Margao.
Shaurya and Anamay began their campaign on a strong note, registering a comfortable 6-2 win over Chinmay and Jai. They carried that momentum into the semifinals, delivering a clinical performance to defeat Sanket and Raoul 6-3, 6-1 and book their place in the final.
In the second semifinal, Rushil and Aryan were equally dominant, overcoming Sachin and Arup 6-1, 6-2 to secure their spot in the title clash.
The Ladies Doubles category was decided through a series of round robin matches. Raisa and Poojal emerged as champions after a string of emphatic victories. They defeated Valencia and Avni 6-0, Anisha and Analeah 6-1 and Junette and Kimberly 6-0 to finish at the top of the standings.
Anisha and Analeah finished as runners up, recording a 6-4 win over Junette and Kimberly and a 6-3 victory against Valencia and Avni. Valencia and Avni, meanwhile, edged Junette and Kimberly 6-4 in another closely contested match.
Supported by Baale Resort Goa and conducted under the aegis of the Goa State Tennis Association, the Baale BPS Open 2026 continues to feature competitive doubles action across categories at the B.P.S. Sports Club courts in Margao.
