The Mumbai Police on Wednesday said all three weapons used in NCP leader Baba Siddique’s murder and a bike have been recovered. Three pistols were used in Siddique’s murder, one of them was an Australian-made Glock pistol, a Turkish pistol and a country-made pistol, the Mumbai Police said.
Siddique was murdered after being shot outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Nirmal Nagar on October 12. So far, the police have arrested four people – Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap, Gurmail Baljit Singh, Pravin Lonkar, and Harishkumar Balakram – in connection with Baba Siddique’s murder.

According to sources, while the accused were targeting the office for the shootout, they did a recce of Baba Siddique’s house and office over the past 25-30 days in Mumbai.
Sources said two of the accused changed their shirts a few metres away from the crime spot on the day of the incident.
Sources said Lonkar transferred Rs 60,000 to Harish who bought an old bike, Apache, for Rs 32,000 from Pune, which he brought to Mumbai and gave to the accused. The bill of the bike has been recovered from the bag which was seized recently from the spot.
The police said they have seized the bike from Kurla.
The police said they are probing all angles. The accused were offered money and other assurances were given to them, police said.
POLICE SEARCH FOR THIRD SHOOTER
The police have searched places of worship in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain and Khandwa in their hunt for the third shooter wanted in connection with the killing of Siddique.
Shivkumar Gautam, who also hails from Bahraich and is on the run, had posted online content in recent months, flaunting his “gangster” status. “Yaar tera gangster hai jaani (your friend is a gangster)”, Gautam had captioned his photo post on his Instagram on July 24.
It showed him on a motorcycle as a Haryanvi song played in the background. He hails from Gandara village in Bahraich district, where local residents and police said he had no criminal history. They said he had gone to work at a scrap shop in Pune.
