The Court has also directed Paresh to surrender his passport to the investigation agency and remain within the state, marking a significant development in this high-profile case.
On August 8, hundreds of villagers of Divar and activists from across the state, including political leaders, had gathered at the Mardol police station, demanding justice for those who died in the accident.
They had alleged that the car owner was driving the car when the accident took place and not her husband.
