OLD GOA: The Basilica of Bom Jesus at Old Goa will be closed for tourists and other visitors during the Holy Week from Thursday morning to Saturday night.
Liturgical services during the Holy Week will be conducted on Maundy Thursday at 5 pm, Good Friday at 3 pm and on Saturday at 11 pm, for those persons with passes for each of those days.
“Tourists and other visitors will not be permitted inside the Basilica during this period. The Basilica will reopened for tourists and other visitors from Sunday at 11.30 am, after the Easter Sunday liturgical services,” said a release by Fr Patricio Fernandes, S.J.
Rector, Basilica of Bom Jesus.
