CANACONA: “Canconkars are known for accountability & Responsibility. Please don’t put us to Shame. We hope you have not done any Chicanery during the two-day MLA training session. Be transparent & make all details public. Doodh Ka Doodh, Paani Ka Paani Ho Jaye,” stated Congress General Secretary Janardhan Bhandari.
Sharply reacting to the reports of denial by the Goa Legislative Department to provide information to LAQ Question as well as RTI Application, Janardhan Bhandari has appealed to the Speaker & Canacona MLA to come clean on the matter.
“Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar should remember that he is elected by Canconkars and should not get indulged in any act that will shame Canacona. If things are done following the proper procedure, there is nothing to worry about. Let people know the facts & figures,” Janardhan Bhandari said.
He said it is shocking that Goa Legislative Department first “Disallowed” the Legislative Assembly Question tabled by Cuncolim MLA Yuri Alemao seeking all details of the Two Day Training Session for MLAs conducted at a Five Star Hotel. Subsequently, Reply to RTI Application filed by Adv. Aires Rodrigues is also denied. Why is the Speaker worried? Questioned Janardhan Bhandari.
“I once again appeal to Speaker & Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar to immediately give directions to the Public Information Officer of Goa Legislative Department to make all the information public. If the Speaker fails to do so, it will be obvious that “All is not Well”,” Janardhan Bhandari said.
