PONDA: The search operation for the 31-year-old Arthik Shukla, who drowned in the Dudh Sagar river Monday, continued for the entire day on Tuesday, but he could not be traced.
The search continues for the third day on Wednesday.
MLA Ganesh Gawkar also visited the Dudhsagar site.
The Collem police officers, Fire Brigade and Navy team are conducting a search.
Arthik Shukla (31) hails from Bhopal and is a data operator.
It is learnt that he and a group of five, including his wife and one-year-old child, had arrived through the railway on Dudhsagar river yesterday evening and learnt to be drowned there.
The exact nature of how he drowned is not known yet.
