BICHOLIM: Bicholim police on Friday arrested 19-year-old from Muslimwada Bicholim in connection with raping a 15-year-old girl from Bicholim area.
According to Bicholim police they received a wireless message that a 15-year-old girl from Bicholim area was pregnant. Following the call the police swung into action and started an investigation.
The police also interrogated the victim after her mother lodged a complaint at the Bicholim police station. The girl revealed the name of the suspect youth Arman Khan.
The suspect was arrested who confessed that he had sexually abused the girl six or seven months ago. The suspect has been arrested by police. Sub-Inspector Manisha Padnekar is investigating the matter under the guidance of PI Mahesh Gadekar.
