New Delhi: The Indian Supercross Racing League Season 2 concluded on a spectacular note with a landmark Grand Finale at the EMS Corporation Stadium in Calicut, where BigRock Motorsports successfully retained its championship title. The finale marked a defining moment for Indian motorsport, drawing a record breaking crowd of more than 32,000 spectators, the highest attendance ever recorded for a motorsport event in the country.
The high energy finale unfolded in front of roaring fans and featured intense racing action across categories, reinforcing Kerala’s growing reputation as a major destination for large scale sporting events. Adding to the excitement, ISRL Brand Ambassador Salman Khan was present at the venue, lending star power to an evening that combined elite racing with live entertainment.
BigRock Motorsports emerged as Season 2 champions after a fiercely contested campaign that spanned three cities Pune, Hyderabad and Calicut. The season stood out for its mix of world class international riders and rising Indian talent, reflecting the league’s expanding competitive depth.
The Calicut round delivered thrilling performances across classes. Matt Moss of BigRock Motorsports clinched victory in the 450cc International category riding the Kawasaki KX 450. In the 250cc International class, Calvin Fonvieille of Apollo Indewheelers dominated the field aboard the Yamaha YZ 250. The 250cc India Asia Mix category saw Thailand’s Delvinator Alfarizi claim top honours on the KTM 250 SX F, drawing loud cheers from the packed stadium.
Speaking at the event, Salman Khan praised the passion of the fans and the intensity of competition, noting that ISRL has created a strong platform for Indian riders to compete alongside global stars. League officials highlighted that the overwhelming fan response across venues underlined the growing appeal of Supercross in India.
Season 2 featured 36 international riders from 21 countries competing alongside leading Indian racers, further enhancing the league’s global profile. Beyond racing, the ISRL Fan Park transformed the venue into a full scale motorsport festival with music, interactive zones and family friendly experiences.
With Season 2 ending on a historic high, ISRL now looks to expand its reach, strengthen grassroots development and firmly establish India on the global Supercross map.
