TALEIGAO: A 45-year-old Bihar native was taken into custody by the Pananji Police on for possessing 940 grams of ganja, which is valued at Rs 94,000.
The accused, identified by the police as Umakant Pandey, was taken into custody after they claimed to have discovered the contraband during a raid on Taleigao.
Under the direction of PI Panaji Vijaykumar S. Chodankar, a group of police officers led by PSI Rajaram Bagkar and constables Laxman Mhamal, Prathamesh Malik, Minesh Naik, and Sarthak Desai carried out the raid.
