MARGAO: The Bharatiya Janata Party Goa Pradesh has announced the constitution of its Mahila Morcha South Goa District Committee, with the appointments approved by State President Damu Naik.
According to a press note issued on March 2, 2026, Anita Kavlekar has been appointed as President of the South Goa District Mahila Morcha.
The committee includes Mrs. Savita Tawadkar, Mrs. Leena D’Costa and Mrs. Monika Salgaonkar as Vice-Presidents, while Mrs. Savita Talekar and Mrs. Anita Raikar have been named General Secretaries.
Mrs. Bobita Borkar, Mrs. Preeti P. Naik and Mrs. Navita Fal Desai have been appointed as Secretaries, and Mrs. Renuka Jadhav will serve as Treasurer. The members of the committee are Mrs. Seema Morajkar, Mrs. Shashikala Ajgaonkar, Mrs. Sujata Naik, Mrs. Ashwini Bandekar, Mrs. Khushi Velip and Mrs. Sunaina Karpe.
The press note was issued by State General Secretary Sidharth Kuncalienker, stating that the committee has been duly constituted to strengthen the organisational structure of the Mahila Morcha in South Goa.
