PANAJI: Benaulim MLA Capt Venzy Viegas today said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is being misused while stating that Kejriwal was purposely framed in the Liquor policy.
“BJP could not find anything and hence BJP frames Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in the Liquor policy. The authorities are arresting any leaders and no bail is granted,” said Viegas.
He further said that the people of Goa know what is going on and they rightly know what is to be done, the people of Goa and the rest of the country are frustrated with the BJP.
He further said that Arvind Kejriwal is the only person who can raise his voice. “Today we have our government in Delhi & Punjab. In Goa, we have two steady MLAs”
Venzy said that the BJP has finished the democratic setup of the country and the BJP should know that people are the supreme.
“People are going to retaliate and we are not able to gather anywhere due to the election code of conduct. ED is being misused,” he added
Viegas echoed these sentiments, highlighting that Kejriwal’s arrest is just one instance among many, shedding light on the underlying mindset of the BJP.
“It’s not just about one case; it’s about the ideology driving these actions. We must remind ourselves to safeguard our democracy and repair its fabric,” Viegas emphasised.
He also said that BJP is shattered and hence, they don’t want Arvind Kejriwal to campaign in various states.
“There are thousands of ‘Arvind Kejriwal’ (workers) who will campaign and ensure that BJP loses this election,” Viegas said.
