PANAJI: GPCC president Girish Chodankar has charged that the top leadership of BJP has once again proved that they are least bothered about pains of the people and their ultimate focus is on making Business from People’s Sickness.
“Fearing further expose by Vishwajit Rane of Rafale files lying in former Chief Minister late Manohar Parrikar’s cupboard, Home Minister Amit Shah intervened to settle the dispute between Health Minister & Chief Minister over commission sharing on purchase of ₹22.50 crores Ivermectin tablets,” he charged.
He said the BJP leadership has no time to intervene and resolve the oxygen shortage in Goa which has resulted in many deaths.
“Home Minister Amit Shah did not bother to listen to people’s demand of lockdown in Goa. He has not spoken a word on vaccination shortage nor has assured the Goa government on any central assistance. It is clear that the fear of further expose on Rafale files by Vishwajit Rane compelled Home Minister Amit Shah to intervene and settle the quarrel between Dr.Pramod Sawant and Vishwajit Rane,” claimed Girish Chodankar.
He said it is really sad that the top leadership of BJP has not uttered a word on Deaths in Goa which occurred due to BJP governments gross mismanagement.
“Home Minister Amit Shah had no time to share the grief of people,” Girish Chodankar said.
Chodankar said it is pointless to expect any action on the Chief Minister or Health Minister by the BJP central leadership as both PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah have grabbed power with blood on their hands and both of them have no emotions for deaths .
“BJP central leadership must learn from our leader Rahul Gandhi. Taking note of the deaths in Goa due to lack of Oxygen, he expressed condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Our leader went a step ahead by appealing everyone to dedicate all our efforts as a nation to avert such incidents in the future. This is Congress culture,” Girish Chodankar said.
“I want to once again reiterate my demand that Government must make public the details on whose advice government decided to buy Ivermectin tablets as preventive treatment for Covid. Why Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane are feeling afraid to reveal this information? Government must make public whether any tender was floated to buy these tablets and who was selected to supply those tablets and at what price,” demanded Girish Chodankar.
World Health Organisation has already made it clear that Ivermectin tablets can be taken only after clinical tests. BJP Government has now mastered the art of making Business from People’s Sickness”. When Government has no money to provide free vaccinations to the citizens, bankrupt BJP Government spends crores on procurement of tablets without any scientific basis or medical advice. The prophylaxis treatment for 18 years and above was announced by the health minister only to make money Girish Chodankar stated.
