MARGAO: Margao MLA Digambar Kamat, warned the party’s members on to only appreaciate social media messages from the ruling party’s leaders on social media and to not value those from the opposition.
Kamat cautioned that the BJP has a system in place to keep an eye on the actions of party employees, while claiming that the organization is highly modernized and digitalized.
Speaking to party workers in the Margao Mandal block to commemorate the installation of recently elected President Abishek Kakodkar, Kamat assured them that the BJP government was here to stay and that no amount of power could overthrow it.
“I would advise party employees to avoid liking remarks that are aimed at party leaders. These messages are not appreciated or liked. All you need to do is like the posts made by PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, J P Nadda, and other party leaders on social media. I say this because the party has a system in place to keep an eye on party workers’ activities because it is quite modernized and digitalized,” he said.
Kamat asserted that the BJP could not be overthrown even if the party administration had withstood anti-incumbency. He added that the party government in the country had arrived to stay.
However, Kamat warned that he would not put up with anyone missing mandal meetings and programs, stating that booth committee presidents and committee members are the party’s brand ambassadors.
