The Aam Aadmi Party Cuncolim candidate Prashant Naik stated that there is a secret deal between the BJP and the Congress Cuncolim candidate Yuri Alemao and that Alemao will join the BJP if elected.
Naik asserted that Congress Cuncolim candidate Yuri Alemao is known for switching from party to party like a chameleon changing its color. Since the BJP realises that there is a strong anti-incumbency against it, it has made a secret agreement with the Congress candidate Alemao for Cuncolim.
Naik said, “Alemao unsuccessfully ran in the 2017 assembly election from Sanguem on an NCP ticket. Then he joined the GFP in 2018. Yuri, meanwhile, broke up with the GFP after a two-and-a-half-year relationship and then he joined the Congress”.
Adding he said, “In the past, Alemao has switched parties for personal advancement. This time as well, he will join the BJP and help it form the government once he is elected on the Congress ticket”.
“The upcoming Assembly election is important for Goa. Goans must decide what is best for them. There is only one option Goa has right now that is to support the AAP, which has promised a corruption-free government and has given six guarantees to the Goans. I urge Goans to give a chance to AAP”, he said.
