PORVORIM: The BJP Karyakarta Melava held in Porvorim was a testament to the unwavering dedication and commitment of BJP karyakartas in strengthening the party’s grassroots outreach.
The event witnessed the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, BJP Goa President Damu Naik, Minister Rohan Khaunte, BJP North Goa President Dayanand Karbotkar, and other senior leaders, who addressed party workers and acknowledged their crucial role in the party’s continued success. The BJP Karyakarta Melava commenced with a warm welcome by Shri Vinit Parab, BJP Porvorim Mandal President, who extended his greetings to all dignitaries and karyakartas present.
Speaking at the event, BJP Goa President Damu Naik emphasized the party’s growing strength, stating, “We currently have 13,000 members and 138 active memberships. This is only possible because our organization is strong, and we will continue to grow it further. First of all, I would like to congratulate CM Pramod Sawant, who has successfully completed six consecutive years in office. With that confidence and responsibility, today, I acknowledge all the senior karyakartas who have contributed immensely to the party. Their experiences are invaluable, and the guidance I have received from them has strengthened our organization. Dr. Pramod Sawant, you must continue leading us forward.”
Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Pramod Sawant praised BJP karyakartas for their tireless efforts in ensuring that the benefits of state and central government schemes reach every citizen. He emphasized that their dedication has played a key role in Goa’s development across sectors such as infrastructure, education, industrial growth, agriculture, and social welfare.
Karyakartas were assured that the government remains committed to accelerating Goa’s progress through visionary governance and sustainable development initiatives. He reiterated that the party’s strength lies in its workers, whose relentless service and people-centric approach have contributed to the state’s transformation.
