PANJIM: Former BJP leader and karyakarta Deepak Kalangutkar today has formally joined the Goa Forward Party.
His induction was done by Goa Forward Party President and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai. Deepak had quit the BJP on October 21.
Now, the BJP has become another Congress; today the old, dedicated, principled and loyal BJP workers are not wanted by the state BJP leaders,” Deepak alleged, adding that in Pernem as well as Mandrem constituencies, both the MLAs have been imported from Congress along with their workers, who have a totally different ideology and a different culture.
“They have already started clashing with the original, true BJP workers,” he observed, stating that this is the reason why he and many BJP workers are leaving the party, even though it is presently in power, both in the state and at the centre, and joining an opposition party.
