PANAJI: In a scathing attack, former AICC General Secretary Girish Chodankar called Union Minister Smriti Irani, a pathological liar.
Addressing a press conference with regards the Silly Ouls Bar & Restaurant allegedly owned by Irani’s daughter, Chodankar said the minister is not telling lies for the first time; she did it in the past too.
“You can recall the qualification controversy. First, she claimed that she had completed graduation, and in another affidavit, she claimed that she had done only B.Com 1st year “ he said.
On Silly Souls, he said, the GST registration of Silly Souls Bar and Eightall LP run by Smriti Irani’s family is the same even the registered office of the company and Silly Souls Bar is the same.
“All the records are straight and clear,” he said.
Recalling the lies of Union Minister Smriti Irani in her affidavits over qualification, and now in Silly Soul café and Bar in Goa, which her family operates and the GST number, allotted to the family firm, is linked to it proves that she is pathological liar, said former Secretary of AICC Girish Chodankar.
Chodankar addressed the press conference in Capital City Panaji and showed the documents about GST, which is linked to ‘Silly Soul café and Bar’.
Chodankar terming Smriti Irani as pathological liar has demanded to drop her from the cabinet and also Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to come clear over the issue.
“Union Minister Smriti Irani is a ‘Pathological Liar’; this is known to the country as she had sworn in the election affidavit stating she is graduate and later stated that she B.Com first year pass. Now again, she is lying ‘Silly Soul bar’ issue, which is operated by her family. There is no single inch doubt in it,” Chodankar, former Goa Congress President, said.
Referring to the GST Number 30AAIFE7039H1ZM, which is allowed to Eightall Food & Beverages LLP registered in Goa with its operations address at House no. 452, Bouta Waddo, Assgao, Goa, Girish Chodankar pointed out that the Silly Souls Cafe & Bar is also located at the same address.
“This cannot be a coincidence, and two different firms cannot have one GST number in common or address,” he said.
He said that the official records available in the public domain also reveal that Smriti Iranis daughter Zoish Irani, son Zohr Irani and husband Zubin Irani and his daughter Shanelle Irani own two companies, namely Ugraya Mercantile Pvt. Ltd and Ugraya Agro Farms Pvt. Ltd.
“The records also state that both these companies have invested in Eightfall Food & Beverages LLP. whose principal place of business address is the same as that of Silly Souls Bar & Restaurant,” claimed Girish Chodankar.
The lies are now open, concluding that Irani families were operating a Benami Business. I demand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi immediately sack Union Women & Child Development Minister Smriti Irani, who has no moral right to hold that portfolio. I also demand that Goa Chief Minister Dr.Pramod Sawant should break his conspicuous silence and come clean on the illegal benami business activity linked to Union Minister of BJP Government, demanded Girish Chodankar.
This must be the first incident when a mother claims her Daughter is a Liar. The whole world has seen Smriti Irani’s daughter Zoish Iranis interview with noted food critic Kunal Vijaykar in which she is on record claiming that “Silly Souls” is her restaurant. Although the interview did not highlight “Bar”, our Youth Congress team in Goa exposed the “Hidden Bar” of “Silly Souls”. Nothing better can be expected from a Mother who holds “Fake Degrees”, taunted Girish Chodankar.
