PANAJI: BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Saturday urged party workers to intensify efforts across all sectors and regions to strengthen the organisation ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.
Emphasising unity and grassroots-level work, he said a strong organisational structure from the booth to the state level is essential to take the party’s ideology and development agenda to every household.
Addressing party functionaries, Nabin said a stable government is crucial to achieving the vision of a developed Goa.
He pointed to initiatives such as the Mhaji Ghar Yojana and ongoing development programmes as indicators of the state’s progress, while stressing that sustained efforts are required to realise the goal of a developed state by 2047.
Highlighting Goa’s economic growth, the BJP president said the state’s per capita income has increased significantly from ₹1.12 lakh in 2014 to around ₹3 lakh in 2023–24.
He attributed this growth to focused development and improved infrastructure, including two operational airports, expanding expressways, national highways, and newly constructed flyovers.
Nitin Nabin said this transformed image of Goa must be effectively communicated to the people, adding that sovereignty ultimately lies with the citizens whose support strengthens the party.
He underlined that continuous organisational work helps expand the BJP’s reach, reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s belief that when villages and the poor grow stronger, the BJP grows stronger—thereby strengthening both the state and the nation.
