Panaji: The BJP Government has always adopted the approach of dictatorial governance by showing high handedness against all those who show dissent against the anti Goa and anti-people policies of the government. The BJP Government which made “Blunders” in governance has no moral right to call act of opposition to show placards during the shortcut address of the Governor as “Mistake” in the Goa Legislative Assembly stated Girish Chodankar.
Chodankar was reacting to the statement made by BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade blaming the opposition MLA’s for showing banners during the speech of the Governor in Goa Legislative Assembly.
The BJP has demolished all the democratic Institutions in the Country. People of Goa are watching the proceedings in the house. The act of BJP government to tactfully divert attentions from core issues is observed by the people of Goa. BJP should remember that “People’s Power” has always emerged supreme in Democracy stated Girish Chodankar.
It is important that the Government in power must show the courage to face the issues raised by the opposition and provide them with appropriate and satisfactory replies and solutions. Today it appears that the BJP government is in the “Shortcut Mode” and is trying to curtail the functioning of the Assembly Session with an intention to cover up its misdeeds and scams.
