PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that it is the first time that BJP is contesting across 40 constituencies for the coming Goa Assembly Elections and that they have been receiving enormous response during their campaign.
“This is the first time that BJP is contesting on all 40 constituencies for the coming elections. We also have been receiving enormous response during the campaign,” said CM Sawant
He further said that had been monitoring the campaign across Goa and definitely feels that BJP will get more than 22 seats.
“BJP will win 22+ seats in coming elections and form the next state government,” he added
He further said that he welcomed the opinion polls and that the reality on ground is also the same.
Sawant added, “The BJP is in the government for the past 10 years. I have been the chief minister for the last three years. In so many years, we have initiated several development projects in the state and the people of Goa are happy. People are willing to vote for us again and bring us to power.”
The Goa assembly elections will be conducted on February 14 in a single phase with the counting of votes on March 10.
