CANACONA: A special blood donation camp was successfully organised on Sunday at the Shristhal Panchayat Hall by the Blood Relations Foundation, in collaboration with JanaSena Goa, JanaSeva Foundation Canacona, and AryaDurga Caterers.
The camp, supported by the GMC Blood Bank, Bambolim, saw enthusiastic participation from around 30 voluntary donors, resulting in the collection of an equal number of blood pints.
As part of the event, several JanaSena Warriors—who played a vital role during the COVID-19 pandemic—were felicitated for their dedicated service. Among those honoured were Navadeep Phaldesai, Sarvanand Komarpant, Pralay Bhagat, and Sidharth Gayak.
Notably, some of the warriors also contributed by donating blood, including Vaishnav Pednekar, Sidharth Gayak, Vaishal Pagi, Sidharth Bhandari, Sarvanand Komarpant, Kiran Zore, and Harsh Desai.
The camp underscored a strong sense of community solidarity and compassion, with organisers thanking all participants and supporters for making the event impactful and meaningful.
