OLD GOA: On June 10, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m., the Old Goa Police Station registered UD No. 37/2025 following a PCR call from Panaji reporting a male body floating in the Mandovi River.
Officers from the Panaji Coastal Outpost promptly recovered the body from the river, within the jurisdiction of Old Goa Police.
The deceased has been identified as Madhur Arora, aged 38, a resident of F-47, F-Block, Sector-9, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, based on an identity card found in his pocket.
The body was transported to the GMC morgue in Bambolim for preservation and further post-mortem examination. The investigation is ongoing, with LPSI Jasvita Naik conducting the inquiry.
Authorities have requested anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
