CANACONA: Babesh Borkar was unanimously elected as the president of Canacona Patrakar Sangh on Sunday. He succeeds Ajit Paiginkar.
At a meeting held on Sunday in the press room to commemorate Punyanithi of Lokmanya, Tilak Babesh Borkar was elected as the president of Canacona Patrakar Sangh.
For the post of vice president Bernad Fernandes and Dheeraj Kankonkar were also elected unopposed.
For the post of secretary, Subhash Mahale while Harishchandra Kholkar was elected as joint secretary.
Santosh Naik Gaokar was elected as treasurer.
Other members of the Sangh are Premanand Gaonkar, Devidas Gaonkar, Abel Barretto, Sanjay Komarpant, Albert Fernandes and Ulhas Gaonkar. Advisors to the committee are Ajit Panginkar, Narayan Desai and Ramesh Komarpant.
