New Delhi: India preparations for the T20 World Cup 2026 opener against the United States have been hit by an unexpected challenge after premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah fell ill on the morning of the match. The setback has forced the team management to rethink the playing combination for the first group encounter at the Wankhede Stadium.
Bumrah fitness concern has added to an already ongoing debate over the ideal batting line up.
