MAPUSA: A gang of six to seven burglars reportedly carried out a daring robbery at a doctor’s residence in Ganesh Puri late at night.
According to police sources, the suspects, with their faces covered, broke the window grills to gain entry into the bungalow.
Once inside, they allegedly tied up the family members and stole cash, gold, and other valuables estimated to be worth more than ₹50 lakh. The burglars are said to have fled the scene in the family’s car after the heist.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation, including tracking the vehicle used in the robbery, as they probe the identities and motives of the suspects.
