Margao: An unknown accused has been booked for burglary after cash and a laptop were stolen from the corporate office of Golden Sands Construction LLP in Margao.
According to a complaint lodged by Ranjit Cotta Carvalho of Golden Sands Construction LLP, operating from the 5th floor of Mabai Business Centre, the incident occurred on December 29, 2025, at around 12.53 pm.
Police said the accused gained entry into the corporate office by breaking a window and decamped with cash amounting to ₹15,400 and a laptop valued at ₹64,500, taking away property worth a total of ₹79,900. Margao Town police have registered an offence and are carrying out further investigation.
Further investigation in the case is being conducted by LPSI Aanushka Parab of Margao Town Police Station.
