PONDA: In a burglary reported at Usgao, unidentified miscreants made away with gold ornaments and cash collectively valued at around ₹1.95 lakh.
According to police, complainant Shital Gaude of Usgao stated that on September 2 at around 4 am, two unknown persons, with common intention, entered her house and committed theft. The burglars allegedly stole a gold mangalsutra with locket and davli (cup-shaped pendant) weighing about 28 grams, along with ₹60,000 in cash, from a cupboard in the house.
Ponda Police have registered an offence in this connection. Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Ashish Velip.
