Bye-elections to 10 wards of panchayats on June 23

PANAJI: The bye-elections to ten wards of ten different panchayats in the state will be held on June 23, 2024.
According to a notification, the wards that will go to polls are Ward VII (reserved for women) in village panchayat Kundaim, Ponda; Ward II (General) in village panchayat of Volvoi.
Ward III (reserved for ST) in the village panchayat of Querim, Ponda; Ward V (reserved for women) in the village panchayat of Rachol, Salcete; Ward II ( reserved for women) in the village panchayat of Seraulim, Salcete.
Ward I (reserved for women) in the village panchayat of Assolna, Salcete; Ward II (general) in the village panchayat of Kudnem, Bicholim; Ward II (reserved for OBC) in the village panchayat of Xeldem, Quepem.
Ward X (reserved for Scheduled Caste) in the village panchayat of Socorro, Bardez and Ward XI (general) in the village panchayat of Borim in Ponda taluka.
