PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today informed that cabinet has accorded approval to leasing of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium to a private entity under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant was addressing the press conference after chairing the cabinet meeting along with council of ministers.
“The Cabinet has approved the leasing of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium to a private entity under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model,’ said Sawant
He further said that expected to generate monthly revenue of over ₹25 lakh for the state. However, the stadium will remain reserved for state government events.
