PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced a significant overhaul in the process for house repair approvals, aiming to simplify and expedite the procedure for homeowners across the state.
Under the new guidelines, Panchayat Secretaries are required to grant permissions for house repairs within three days of receiving an application.
If the approval is not granted within this timeframe, the repair request will be automatically approved, ensuring no unnecessary delays for property owners.
To initiate the process, homeowners must provide several key documents.
These include legal documents, house tax details for the past five years, a detailed repair plan, and recent photos of the property.
