Porvorim: BJP MLA Nilesh Cabral on Friday expressed concern in the Goa Legislative Assembly that nearly 23% of schools in the State do not have standard anti-bullying policies in place.
Highlighting the importance of safeguarding students’ mental well-being, Cabral urged the government to frame clear guidelines and provide counseling support to ensure children’s psychological safety.
Responding to the issue, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant assured the House that the Education Department will issue necessary instructions to all schools to adopt standard anti-bullying measures at the earliest.
