CALANGUTE: In the continuing drive against narcotic drugs, the Calangute Police Team apprehended one Haliburton Mondal aged 61 years, a native of West Bengal in the wee hours of the morning of 4th April 2021 for being in illegal possession of 2,055 grams Ganja worth Rs 2, 05, 500.
The drugs were found in a bag carried by him. The accused person was produced before JMFC Mapusa and remanded to 5 days Police custody.
Further investigations is in progress under the supervision of SDPO, Porvorim Edwin Colaco and SP, North Shri Utkrisht Prasoon, IPS.
