In the continuing drive against narcotic drugs, arresred two peraons for illegal possession of 800 grams Ganja all worth Rs 80,000, at Baga.
The Calangute Police Team headed by PI Nolasco Raposo comprising of PSI Vishal Mandrekar, Dinesh Morajkar, Suresh Naik, Laxman Patekar whilst patrolling apprehended accused person namely 1) Vinay Kumar, aged 28 years, r/o Hyderabad 2) Chaitanya Konduri aged 25 years r/o Hyderabad in the late evening of 07/10/2020 near Hammers Club, Baga for illegal possession of 800 grams Ganja all worth Rs 80,000/- concealed in the dickey of their Fascino scooter.
This was also the 14th narcotic drugs case booked at Calangute Police Station for the current year till date.
Further investigation in this case is conducted by L/PSI Sapna Gawas under the direction of PI Calangute Mr Nolasco Raposo and overall supervision of SDPO Porvorim Mr Edwin Colaco and SP North Mr Utkrisht Prasoon.
