CALANGUTE: In the continuing drive against narcotic drugs, the Calangute Police Team comprising apprehended one Jahurul Sarkar, aged 30 years, a native of West Bengal on the night of 16 th March, 2021 for being in illegal possession of 1,338 grams Ganja worth Rs 1,33,800/- which was found in shoulder bag carried by him.
The accused person will be produced before the JMFC Mapusa for seeking Police custody remand.
Further investigations is in progress under the supervision of SDPO, Porvorim Shri Edwin Colaco and SP, North Utkrisht Prasoon, IPS.
