CALANGUTE: In the continuing drive against narcotic drugs, the Calangute Police team apprehended one Isaq Khalif, aged 19 years, a native of Karnataka and resident of Orda, Candolim near Dolphin Circle, Calangute on the night of 25th June, 2021 for being in illegal possession of 904 grams Ganja worth Rs 90,000.
As per police the drugs were found in his possession concealed in a scooter rode by him.
The accused person was booked under section 20(b)(ii)(A) of the NDPS Act. The accused person was produced before the JMFC Mapusa for seeking Police custody remand.
He was subsequently granted conditional bail.
Further investigations is in progress under the supervision of SDPO, Porvorim Shri Edwin Colaco and SP, North Pankaj Kumar, IPS.
