Siolim: In a coordinated anti-narcotics operation, Anjuna Police, acting on a reliable tip-off received by PSI Ramesh Harijan, arrested Jude Boussari (44), a Cameroonian national, for alleged possession of 10.53 grams of cocaine valued at ₹1.10 lakh and cash amounting to ₹6.81 lakh.
The operation took place near Love Story Villa, Bammonwado, Solim, Bardez, where police intercepted a blue Fascino scooter (GA-03-BD-1164) ridden by the accused. Upon searching, the contraband and cash were recovered, and the accused was placed under arrest following all NDPS procedures.
The seized items were taken into custody under panchanama, and the accused was remanded to police custody. The Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Panaji, has been notified to inform the Cameroon Embassy about the arrest.
Further investigation revealed that Jude Boussari was already wanted by the Crime Branch in CB PS Cr. No. 85/2025, registered under Sections 21(b) and 22(c) of the NDPS Act, 1985 on July 18, 2025.
He was identified as a supplier to another arrested Cameroonian national, Nambong Fred Karl (21), in a commercial quantity narcotics case. His Look Out Circular (LOC) had been issued, and the Crime Branch had been actively searching for him since.
Authorities described the arrest as a major breakthrough in cracking an international drug network operating in North Goa.
