CANACONA : Stating mismanagement is leading to irregular and insufficient water supply in Canacona, Canacona Municipal Councillor Shubham Komarpant has submitted a memorandum to PWD Executive Engineer demanding to resolve the issue affecting the entire taluka of Canacona.
Handing over the memorandum to PWD (Water Supply) EE Divn XX Margao Lester Fernandes, Komarpant stated that due to mismanagement happening in the water supply department Canacona, leading to irregular and insufficient water supply throughout Canacona causing problems to households.
‘people are finding it difficult to get drinking water’, states Komarpant reminding there will be shigmosthav and Jatra in Canacona for which people are in need of proper drinkable water.
Komarpant further stated that as a public representative he is responsible to follow up the serious matter and requested the officer to direct the concern officers in Canacona to supply water to households regularly failing to do so he will have to face3 the anger of people of Canacona.
