CANACONA: The Assistant Engineer and a Junior Engineer of Canacona Electricity came in for sharp appreciation for swiftly taking up a job and completing it within a couple of hours time at Ourem Palolem.
‘We highly appreciate the commendable job taken up and completed by the A.E of the electricity department Govind Bhatt and J.E. Dattanand Chari incharge of the section along with his staff for replacing the faulty and nagging transformer at Ourem Palolem. One of the phases has failed in this transformer and the same has begun to malfunction, providing an erratic power supply to the area.’ Said Gaspar Coutinho, Congress District (South) General Secretary (Org) and a social worker.
On getting the information both the officers reportedly immediately rushed on and made necessary arrangements of the crane and brought a new transformer and got it replaced in a couple of hours time and restored the nagging power supply to the consumers .
In a social post Coutinho said, ‘It is a great honor that we have a person like Govind Bhat as the A.E of Canacona Electricity department, and to assist him the J.E Dattanand Chari incharge of the Section
Incidentally, Coutinho went on to say that they and their team always work very tirelessly to provide uninterrupted electricity to the people of Canacona and also thanked the entire staff of Electricity dept of Canacona.
