CANACONA: Canacona girl tops S.C.E.R.T. Incentive Scholarship Examinations (ISE) conducted for Std.IV students.
Miss Jivika Jairam Pagi from Government Primary School, Maxem scored 90% marks to top the Incentive Scholarship Exam for Std. IV students by State Council of Educational Research & Training (S.C.E.R.T), Government of Goa, Porvorim.
600 Primary Schools including government and aided institutions from Rural and Urban areas had enrolled for the examination and 3165 students had appeared and answered the examinations in Goa.
Jivika Pagi studied and answered the ISE under the guidance of her teacher Mrs. Milan Bandekar and her parents.
Complements are being showered on her for her extraordinary achievement.
Around 257 class-IV students from Canacona taluka alone have appeared for the aptitude test for Incentive Scholarship Scheme (Pradnya Shodh) conducted by State Council of Educational Research & Training,(SCERT).
While the question papers consists of three subjects viz; Language (Marathi/Konkani/Urdu), Mathematics & Environmental Studies, Miss Pagi had answered her language paper in Marathi.
