CANACONA: Minister for Art and Culture, Dr. Ramesh Tawadkar, inaugurated the “Canvas of Progress” painting exhibition, a key event under the ongoing ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ initiative.
Speaking at the event, Tawadkar said, “This program, themed ‘India & Goa in the 21st Century – A Shared Path to Viksit Bharat 2047’, beautifully aligns with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. The paintings on display are a vibrant testament to this shared journey, capturing the spirit and aspirations of a progressive India.”
The exhibition was attended by Director of Art & Culture Vivek Krishna Naik, Dy. Director Milind Mate, Anand Kauthankar, and staff from the Art & Culture Department, Government of Goa.
In a special gesture, tokens of appreciation were presented to the participants of the exhibition and to volunteers of the “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025”, recognizing their invaluable contributions and reflecting the government’s commitment to community service and fostering national pride.
The ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ continues as a period of dedicated service and celebration, with the “Canvas of Progress” exhibition providing a creative platform to showcase talent and inspire citizens towards a shared vision of a developed India.
