VASCO: Caper travels on Thursday early morning brought in the first set of international tourists from Kyrgyzstan, who are coming for the first time to Goa.
The move has put yet another country whose citizens will bring the New Year Celebrations in Goa and definitely further boost the tourism season in Goa.
The passengers from Kyrgyzstan who arrived at Goa airport were welcomed by roses amidst a traditional brass band playing local Goan music.
The tourists seemed very happy and danced to the music.
Caper Travels, bringing in the first Charter flight into Goa from Kyrgyzstan, made necessary arrangements for reps for convenience of translation and arranged coaches that would take the first lot of incoming tourists to different locations in Goa.
The tourists who arrived at Goa at Dabolim Airport seemed to enjoy the traditional Goan Brass band, and many were found grooving to the music and even taking selfies.
Speaking to the media, Amar Dhumatkar of Caper travels said that the first flight arrived with 185 passengers.
“This is the first flight, and the flight is to full capacity. We will have these flights for the entire month every day. These tourists are coming for the first time, and if they start liking Goa on their maiden visit, we will have these flights coming till March also,” said Dhumatkar.
