PONDA: Due to incessant rain, a retaining wall of Damodar Apartment at Prabhunagar was Curti collapsed, and debris fell on a parked WagonR car and bike below the wall beside it, damaging the gas pipeline from the area.
The incident took place at around 10.30 pm Thursday night.
The retaining wall, a height of 3.5 meters, collapsed on a Parked car and bike.
It also punctured the gas line, after which a stench smell started emanating. However, the leakage was stopped by Gas Authorities.
Ponda Fire in charge Sushil Morajkar rushed to the spot with his team of firefighters. The Curti Khandepar Panchayat also inspected the site.
