PONDA: A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered at Ponda Police Station following a complaint by Karishma Devidas Shirodkar of Ponda. The incident occurred on 27 March 2026 at around 12:45 pm near St. Joseph Chapel, Vanze, Shiroda.
According to the complaint, accused Ganesh Naik of Shiroda was driving his car from Ponda towards Shiroda in a rash and negligent manner, endangering human life. On reaching near St. Joseph Chapel at Vanze, the vehicle allegedly dashed against a roadside parked Suzuki scooter, causing major damage to the scooter.
Further investigation is being carried out by HC 4579 Ramdas Gawas of Ponda Police Station.
