Margao: On July 13, 2025, the Daivadnya Samaj Margao, in collaboration with the Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association, organized a career guidance program titled “Path to a Bright Career” at Daivadnya Bhavan, Margao. The event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its growing significance in education and industry. The program was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Jayesh M. Raikar, Director of Goldy Industries India Pvt. Ltd., along with Ms. Tania Shirodkar, Assistant Professor of Management Studies at Dhempe College of Commerce & Economics, and Mrs. Shruti Chodankar, Director of Global Talent Acquisition at CommScope, Verna. Dr. Vipul Mathur, former faculty member at IIM Kolkata, joined the function virtually and shared his expertise on AI tools and their practical applications in the education sector.
The event attracted an enthusiastic audience of over 170 attendees, including more than 90 students from various schools across Goa. In his welcome address, Mr. Atul Verlekar, Vice President of Daivadnya Samaj, emphasized the importance of staying updated with technological advancements, particularly in the field of AI. Mrs. Seema Vernekar, President of the Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association, encouraged students to actively participate in such initiatives to make informed and future-ready career choices. Ms. Tania Shirodkar provided detailed information on academic courses and career opportunities related to AI, while Dr. Vipul Mathur engaged the students with live demonstrations of AI tools that can enhance learning. Mrs. Shruti Chodankar highlighted the impact of AI on various industries and outlined the emerging job opportunities it presents.
Organized under the leadership of Mr. Upendra Madkaikar, Chairman of the Education Cell at Daivadnya Bhavan Margao, and coordinated by Mr. Prashil Salkar, the event was smoothly hosted by Mrs. Suphala Revankar. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Kishor Revankar, Secretary of Daivadnya Samaj. The session proved to be an inspiring and informative experience for students, helping them envision a bright future in the evolving landscape of technology and artificial intelligence.
