OLD GOA: Old Goa Police have booked a local resident for verbally abusing a woman and her infant son.
As per the complaint lodged by a resident of Karmali (native of Neura), the incident occurred on September 8, 2025, at around 7.50 am at Karmali. The complainant alleged that her neighbour, Firoz Khan of Pether, Karmali, used filthy and abusive language against her and her eight-month-old son.
Police stated that the act not only outraged the woman’s modesty but also amounted to child abuse of her minor son.
Accordingly, Old Goa Police registered Crime No. 117/2025 under Section 79 of BNS and Section 8 of the Goa Children’s Act.
Further investigation is underway.
