Ponda: Police have registered an offence based on a complaint alleging sexual exploitation under the false promise of marriage.
According to the complaint (name withheld to protect identity), between 15 October 2024 and the present date, the accused — Gaurav Kapileshwari, resident of Mestawada, Curti, Ponda — allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with the complainant after promising marriage, a promise he later failed to honour.
The case has been registered at Ponda Police Station, and further investigation is being carried out by LPSI Anjali Dhulapkar.
