Colva: Colva Police have registered a case in connection with an incident of illegal bull fighting organised for public entertainment, involving cruelty to animals.
According to a State complaint lodged by PSI Manju Vantamuri of Colva Police Station, prior to January 3, 2026, at TNK, Colva, two unknown persons allegedly organised an illegal bull fight between two bulls in an open place with public view. Police stated that the organisers incited the bulls to fight with each other, thereby subjecting the animals to cruelty.
Based on the complaint, Colva Police have registered FIR No. 03/2026 under Sections 11(m) and 11(n) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Further investigation in the case is being carried out by PSI Manju Vantamuri of Colva Police Station.
