FATORDA: Unknown burglars broke into an office at Fatorda and decamped with cash amounting to ₹2,80,000 on April 7 evening.
According to police, complainant Rybeek Pereira, a resident of Sinquetim, Navelim, Margao, reported that the incident occurred between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm at the KFC Building, Fatorda. The accused allegedly gained entry into the L & L Developers office by forcefully breaking open the main door.
After entering the premises, the accused fled with cash of ₹2,80,000 kept inside the office. The theft was noticed later, following which a complaint was lodged with Fatorda Police.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Atikesh Khedekar of Fatorda Police Station.
