PANAJI: BJP state President Sadanand Shet Tanavade today said that BJP central leadership will decide whether to bring Laxmikant Parsekar and Utpal Parrikar into the party.
Former chief minister and one of the most senior BJP officials, Parsekar resigned from the party’s primary membership in January 2022 after the party rejected his candidacy for Mandrem.
Son of the late Manohar Parrikar, the former Defence Minister, Utpal Parrikar abandoned the BJP when Babush was selected by the party to represent Panaji in the 2022 assembly elections.
Tanavade said that a number of other figures communicate with the BJP both directly and indirectly.
