Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today informed that the central government is very much concerned on Goa’s mining issue and its resumption at the earliest.
CM was in New Delhi and had a series of meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah, Mines Minister Prahlad Joshi and Petroluem Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
“Central leadership and governemnt is very much concerned on restarting mining in Goa at the earliest. I had series of meeting in Delhi during my visit and the outcome was positive,” said CM Sawant upon his arrival at Dabolim Airport today
He further informed that he will soon have another round of meeting with the central leadership in Delhi.
Meanwhile, laying to rest all rumours of a possible lockdown in the state due to rising covid cases in the country, Sawant said clarifed that there is no need of lockdown.
“I urge Goans to follow all guidelines and SOPs and take precautionary measure. There is no need of a lockdown in Goa.” CM clarified
